You can add a splash or introductory page to your website if you'd like, by activating the "Splashpage" add-on from Add-ons > More.. > Splashpage. You can personalize it by adding text or an image.

Your website's homepage is a special kind of page, and every website must have one. You can add text to it using the visual page editor, or add content from other pages or add-ons from your website (like your latest blog posts or photos).

To edit the homepage, use the "Visual editor" tab from the Pages > Homepage menu. Use the editor to provide all the information (text, images etc.) that you'll need to best present your website and its contents to visitors, and remember that first impressions count, so take your time really making a great first page.

To add or edit your homepage image, select the "Transfer an image" tab from the Pages > Homepage menu. Upload the image by "Browsing" for it on your local drive or network, and select where to place it on the page. When you're finished, "Save" your changes.

You can display the integrated visitor counter on your homepage. To display or hide the counter, head to the "Visitor counter" tab of the Pages > Homepage menu. Check the box to display it, and choose whether you'd prefer a text or graphical counter - if you choose a graphical counter, you'll have the choice of a number of different styles of counter. Don't forget to save your changes when you're finished.

If your title is split over two lines but the second line of text is masked by your contents block, don't worry - you just need to adjust the height of your header or the line spacing.

You can adjust them by heading to the Configuration > Personalize design menu of your member zone. Look for the "Site header" section, and use the sliders to adjust the position of your title in the header block.

You can change the title of your website from the Site > Website info menu. Edit your title, then save your changes.

Attention: don't confuse the "title" of your website with the "address" of your website. More importantly, choosing the right title is a very important part of optimizing your website for search engines like Google. Think about adding some of your websites keywords to your title.

You can edit the appearance of your title from the Configuration > Personalize design menu, in the header section.

To adjust the layout of your site logo and title, head to the Configuration > Logo menu.

Accordion menus enable one element to be opened at a time, with a "drawer" or "accordion" sliding effect. See the tutorials for more details on how to use them.

You can configure the categories listed in your top or bottom menus to list their pages with a drop-down effect. For more information, see the tutorials.

By default, once activated the accordion menu effect applies to all side menu elements. To exclude an element from adopting this effect, you'll need to configure it to "Force display" by opening and editing the menu element from the Configuration > Side menus menu.
