Images imported in portrait format change to landscape format - how to rotate them back ?

I am new to Doomby and I am trying to upload photos but have encountered the following problem.

When the photo is in landscape (horizontal) format, they import perfectly and keep their format. When the photos are in portrait format (vertical) they turn on their sides and become landscapre and I cannot use them in my website (wrong way round). I have spent a lot of time trying to find out how to solve this but I am running out of patience !

Does anyone know how I can correct this problem - either on the site itself or if I can adjust the way I upload them.

Hi - are you still confronted with the same issue (it's been a week, so not sure if you've worked around it)? If so - I'll chime in.

Though I haven't encountered this problem myself, Jérémy did once. His solution was to open the image(s) concerned with a photo/image editing application (whatever's handy, it doesn't need to be sophisticated) and resaving the file (without doing any other modification) under a different name (or replacing the old one).

This solved the problem for him - let me know how it goes for you.
